EKATO NANOMIX
What is NANOMIX?
- A system for the production of extremely fine dispersed emulsions and suspensions (average diameters often below 100 nm)
- with very narrow droplet or particle size distributions
- by high pressure homogenization (up to 1500 bar or 22000 psi)
- with the aid of a patented nozzle system
Who needs NANOMIX and why?
- Manufacturers in the fields of fine chemicals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology etc.
- for the production of emulsions, liposomes, injectables, melt dispersions, solid nanoscale wax particles
- with applications as catalysts, sun protections, cosmetic and pharmaceutical lotions and cremes, parenteral nutrition, paints and varnishes etc.
- for the rupture of plant and animal cells for the biotechnological production of enzymes, antibiotics and flavours
Advantages of Nanoemulsions and -suspensions
- Increased bioavailability: Quick and constant release of active substances
- Extended shelf life: No creaming or sedimentation
- Transparent appearance: attractive visual properties
- Efficient processes: Large surface per volume ratio results in high mass transfer rates
- Transdermal penetration: specific targeting of active substances
