The tasks to be solved by mixing processes are becoming more and more complicated. Times have long passed when it simply was the job to mix two products with each other, nowadays it is the aim to find the optimum process design.
 
For this reason EKATO combines results from experimental model tests with mixing know-how from different processes as well as with numerical simulation of flow. Our mixing experts thereby rely on methods like CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEM (Finite Element Method). Only with such modern tools mixing processes can be analyzed in an economical and time-saving manner.
 
The mixing experts are supported by the computer based system ANTOS, which is an own development based on the experience of more than thousand laboratory tests, mixing simulations and production scale installations.
 
Apart from the theoretical approach, nevertheless, pilot tests still play an important role. For your specific mixing problem a large laboratory is available, in which also basic research with respect to fluid dynamics is carried out.
