EKATO Polycondensation

Requirements:

For polycondensation the following facts have to be regarded:

• High viscosities up to 1,000,000 mPas (picture right side)
• No dead zones at the impellers
• High polymerisation grades
• Small distribution of the molecular weight
• High yields

Typical applications:

Polymerisation:  Polyester, Polystyrene, Polyamides, PBL, SAN

Particularly for polyester, polyamides and polystyrol, a good overall blending of the reactor contents with impellers close to the wall is necessary (e.g. EKATO PARAVISC).
