Today ore is obtained using the hydrometallurgy process. This occurs in horizontal titanium autoclaves with lengths up to 40 m and pressures up to 60 bar. The vessels are divided into 4-8 chambers which are separated by weir walls. EKATO has developed a complete system based on comprehensive pilot tests that offers a maximum recovery by optimizing the interaction of the flow pattern, feed slurry and the flow direction between the chambers. This technology sets the standard today worldwide in the mineral processing industry.
