ESD ATEX certificates

Explosion protection is harmonized in European legislation by the EC Directives 94/9/EC (ATEX 100a) and 99/92/EC (ATEX 137). Directive 94/9/EC was adopted on the basis of Article 100a of the Treaty establishing the European Community and applies to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. It therefore addresses the manufacturers/suppliers of those products.

ESD products have already been duly certified by a notified body in accordance with the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.
