EKATO Process Laboratory

For over 70 years EKATO Research and Development has been innovating and developing mixing technology for a broad range of industries. Our state-of-the-art testing center has made significant advances in process technologies for the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, minerals processing and flue gas desulfurization.

To further support mixing innovation and our North American customers, EKATO has opened a new process development laboratory located in Oakland, NJ. The laboratory is equipped with a variety of test equipment for the in-house testing and/or testing at a customer facility:

Chemical Process Testing:

• 5 liter pressure vessel for gassing applications
• Up to 250 C and 85 bar

UNIMIX:

• All-In-One mixing systems for sterile and non-sterile liquids & semi-solids
• Current units available from 2-50 liters working capacity

NANOMIX:

• High-pressure homogenizers for nano-emulsions
• Current units availalbe from 21-100 liters/hours working capacity

Mixing Studies:

• 3/50/500 L multi-purpose test units
• Test with standard and/or EKATO specialized impellers
