EKATO STERILJET

The EKATO STERILJET is a homogenizer concept for the dispersion and emulsion of various viscous and pasty products. The high performance homogenizer, which is integrated into the vessel bottom, can dose liquid and solid additives through suction lines directly into the high-shear zone of the homogenizer. In this zone solid particles are immediately wetted and dispersed, liquids are thoroughly emulsified.

The recirculation of the product can be led through an external recirculation line as well as through internal channels integrated into the homogenizer housing. The internal recirculation is a specific feature of the EKATO STERILJET and allows an air-free production with low residue volumes (no residues in the external recirculation line) as well as small batch volumes.

The combination with the EKATO PARAVISC agitator system allows an optimum result in homogenization in shortest time and avoids unnecessary shear stress.

As the homogenizer provides a pump function, an additional pump for the emptying of the vessel is obsolete. Additionally the cleaning of the vessel (CIP) is supported by the pump function of the homogenizer so that an additional CIP pump is not required.

EKATO S-JET

The EKATO S-JET homogenizer system is a advancement of the successful and proven EKATO STERILJET.

The new concept focuses on increasing the suction capabilities of the homogenizer which permits the draw-in of even higher amounts of powders direct into the shear zone of the homogenizer. The new EKATO S-JET provides customers with a further option to improve their process performance and to manufacture new products.
